My pick would have to be Patti's "If only you knew". I feel as though KeKE Wyatt did just as good as she didon it!!! Just My Opinion

Agreed on what's said about If Only Knew and Superstar. Keke's remake just as good as the original, Ruben's remake>Luther's>>>>>>>>...the original.

the original by The MiraclesLooks like The J5 version has become the standard when many people cover the song esp. for auditions. More boldness, more grit, more shouting (you get the idea) in Lil' Mike's vocal than in the original, I've noticed that's how all these people choose to sing the song. -
wow..... the remake's by keke (if you only knew), ginuwine (she's out of my life) and ruben (superstar) are definitely NOT better than the originals...... y'all crazy. lol. especially the luther.... c'mon now! But i can cosign k-ci's if you think your lonely now being better than bobby's. i've always said that myself.
i would say:
-jodeci lately (live version) is slightly better than the stevie wonder original.
-kelly price's as we lay is better than the shirley murdock original.
-maxwell's this womans work is better than the kate bush original.
-luther vandross/cheryl lynn's if this world we're mine, is better than the marvin/tammi original. (most of luthers remakes are better than the originals lol)
-after 7's baby i'm for real is better than the origianl by the old soul group, the originals. -
Also Avant/Keke Wyatt's My First Love is better than the original by Rene & Angela..... by far.
