If Our Black Billionaires Supported The NFL Players They Could All Protest

Hear me out.
The NFL is at a crossroads. Some players want to protest by kneeling at the national anthem, but the problem is they could lose their jobs. And they get nice paychecks. A good QB makes $15M per year. A good running back or wide receiver gets about $5-$8M per year.
As much as I think they should kneel during the national anthem, I can understand why they stand; they don't want to lose their jobs.
What if we could get our Black billionaires to support the movement so the athletes don't go broke? So the athletes could kneel for the national anthem and get let go from the team. Then you'd have a bunch of second rate players because the a-list players would have all been fired.
If the Black NFL players could get financial support from an alternative source they could all kneel during the National anthem and shut down the NFL. But unless they have financial support from somewhere else its not gonna happen.

supporting a cause should not have to depend on the next man handling you money.
you should be smart with your money from the jump and pass on the knowledge.
unless you a rookie..you have no reason to be living outside your means or stashing for injures.
this all revolves around poor money management skills and being a slave to supporting a lifestyle and family.
while its a good thing to support family...they will also be your downfall.
you only need to support your wife and kids and maybe parents.
everyone else needs to make better decisions or understand they need to work just as hard as you.
once you remove the monetary factor from this.....can the owners really threaten your job?
can your boss really threaten your job if you have a million plus stashed right now an your bills come out to like $1500/month?
can he really threaten your job if you have a backup plan? education? investments? -
Every black billionaire world wide could take every dollar he has and he won't be able to touch the NFL. Money don't always equal influence when you get to those levels. The TV contracts the NFL holds alone would wipe out a competing league quickly.

Most of them aint liquid like that and stop thinking billionaires will save you, they are statistically irrelevant, a true black middle class should always be the goal
-
Nobody really cares for the NFL apart from Americans, rich black people overseas dont really give a ? .
Soccer , Rugby , Cricket etc are bigger... -
They dont need black billionaires they need courage.. people at give blood sweat and tears for these ? to roll over ..
-
Neither Muhammad Ali, John Carlos or Tommie Smith needed a billionaire when they took their stands. Foh with that coward ? .

Black Heroes end up broke, thats the nature of the work.
Rosa Parks rent was being paid by Little Caesar CEO at the time of her death, the King family are fighting over memorabilias, Malcolm’s kids get arrested for petty crimes. -

what your point in saying that? -
The only sacrifice these ? have to make is possibly the dollar.. we are the strongest we have ever been as a people.. but sadly we have the weakest intestinal fortitude, pride. if your freedom aint worth fighting for.. and losing a dollar over than what the ? is..
but this is the type of society we live in. im talkin about black society in this instance -

It’s a thank-less job, these people thought more about community uplift than whether theyd make the forbes list, which is what makes them special. Often when they die, they have little monetarily to pass on. Dont expect black elite who profit from their suffering to subsidize

this thread is about billionaires giving millionaires money to not play football?
are you smoking dust?
i'm mad i wasted my time trying to make sense of this.

If you need another man to take care of you in order to fight for a cause.. we already lost.

Like.......welfare???

Well the NFL owners are talking about making a rule that says you absolutely must stand for the national anthem. Lets think this all the way through.
1. If all of the black players kneel for the national anthem, they will be fired.
2. If they get fired they will be replaced by b-list players
3. If they are replaced by b-list players people will stop watching NFL football because, well, watching b-list players is basically college football.
4. If NFL ratings drop then the advertising money and commercial ads will dry up.
5. When the advertising money and commercial ads dry up the NFL owners will lose money
6. When the NFL owners lose money you will see a change.
However, for all that to happen you'd have to convince the players that the movement is more important than their paychecks.
Between the Black churches and the Black upper class it shouldn't be too difficult to support the movement financially. The players might have to take a reduction in income but it will be worth it. -
LOL at "only 5Million a year"
"need a billionaire backer so they dont go broke" -
Naw I respect their right to protest but you can't expect someone else to support them when it results in unfavorable consequences.
Many people choose not to stand up because of the repercussions.vit comes with the territory. What these players have to realize is that their protest needs to be done in solidarity..if all cowboys choose to kneel then WTF Jerry Jones really gonna do? -
Y R we expecting and championing athletes who probably can barely read and write? They're younger than some folks on this board but they're held in the highest regard to somehow make change and or lead us. Plz! Them young boys wanna ? stars, female reporters, turn up, shine and prove they still hood. Surprised its lasted this long. U wonder Y Kap has been so quite huh? More 2 it that meets the eye. Some folks need to closer analyze and be careful whom they designate as a Martyr!

This whole premise defeats the purpose of the protest. The protest is about injustice in America...these black players losing their jobs BECAUSE THEY ARE PROTESTING THE UNJUST KILLING OF BLACK PEOPLE....That's it.
The fact that they can get fired for it is the very system we need to target. Black billionaires should aim at the same target, not pay a grown man's salary to basically do nothing. -
Or how about..
? all collectively agree to not play? NFL Couldn't do ? about that but ? are slaves to the dollar -

? are "slaves" to being able to support themselves. You do need money to operate in this world so pretending to be surprised few would willingly go without it is naive as hell. That's why people who are willingly to make the type of sacrifices people talk about are few nd far in between -

^^^this is true
it's funny to hear 9-5 workers with all these suggestions about how to protest when these NFL cats got to feed their families too
it's funny how black people are all for high profile cats taking on the struggle but ain't nobody there to help them same cats who make the sacrifice to their livelihood
and mofos forget that NFL contracts aren't guaranteed and that not every player is making millions of dollars like that -
