Seriously. I have been listening to Hip Hop for 30 years. This has to be the best freestyle I have ever heard. EVER!!!!!
I am talking about from Stretch and Bobbito, to Tony Touch, the wake up show, five fingers of death. Whatever.
Breath Control - Check
Substance - Check
Energy - Check
Cadence -Check
Flow - Check
MCing to perfection.
Thats what I said when I saw Papoose's Funk Flex freestyle but Black Thought's freestyle is just as good if not better.
I've seen scores of MCs get behind the mic and drop a hot 16, or even 24 bar freestyle. Every once in a while somebody goes for a little longer, like Cam's Rap City freestyle over the Dreams beat. But I've never seen or heard anybody go for 10 minutes straight without a hype man backing him up or taking a pause in between verses.
FOH trying to put pap smear on Black Thought level ....... dude has arguably the 5th best freestyle on flex this year -
not to focus on negatives, but flex really out here pouting taking selfies while a ? king is spitting.
? sit back shut the ? up and embrace what is happening.
That was beyond dope. Its crazy how Tariq dont get brought up in peoples top 5....but its so satisfying that he clearly dont give a ? ? he knows he gets super nice on the mic -

Driving home from work just a while ago and i thought to myself if someone asked me who i thought the best mc in hip hop is period and also my favourite, i would probably say Nas or thought.
Then i came home and watched this and he just cemented it in such impeccable fashion.
Not a single bar wasted. -

Then he showed up at the Promontory and at the end of the night performed 6 songs and free styled again -
The length part is not unheard of, I notice all the Philly ? can rap forever tho
Kurupt and his little Brother was doing ? like rapping ten straight minutes two decades ago. I think Beans dunt rapped long too. The Kurupt one still give a ? the chillz, Sway had to turn this ? 's mic off or he was gonna go even longer. -
Chino XL came on the radio in Cali a few years back and did something similar also wit Felli Fell.
And Slaughterhouse collectively did something similar wit Green Lantern and shut the ? completely down too, particularly Crooked I and Joel -

I been saying this in The Reason for years, Black Thought is the coldest son of a ? to ever rap.
He is the GOAT and yes, he can out-rap your favorite rapper. -
