Earlier this month there were reports that planets like ours are not that rare, they find 700 prospects, and confirmed 5 of them so far in our galaxy alone. The universe is most probably teaming with life, and in our finite view of life and technology, their could be millions of ways to travel that we just can't perceive because we are who we are, while other lifeforms have found them because they are who they are.
