Eminem is by far based on him doing everything from Writting Lyrics, Singing Hook's/Melodies, Producing Beat's, playing the Keyboard, Mixing & mastering tracks

I am aware Sampling is apart of Hip-Hop but you are more creative if you make a Beat from scratch like Eminem does
It is easier to Sample
You named one Song where Kanye is performing/Harmonozing the Hook but Eminem Sing's not just Harmonizes but actually Sing's almost every Hook on most his Song's where as Kanye uses features for Hook's alot
Sampling is not easy, have you ever been in a studio and seen how hard it is to get a sample at the right pitch, the right BPM, without the hiss and crackle, and looped perfectly with no overlaps and still mesh it with the beat??
Just trying to get a sample cleared is a headache. -

My question is why u think singing ur hooks makes u more creative/ complete as an artist, so by all means, enlighten on that connection

Not just Singing but performing your own Hook's at the very least
Eminem performs 90% of the Hook's on his Song's and Sing's 80% of them
Where as Kanye might perform 30% and 70% are features
Kanye also uses Auto Tune for his Hook's like he did on his last Album which is just not creative either
Same with Sampling if you Sample more than other Producers you are less creative -
