Anyone on here renting a house instead of owning a house

if so why did you go with renting instead of buying and when do you plan on buying a house

    seek and ye shall find. get your credit right (or file for bankrupcy) and a house note will be 200 bucks less than rent. but the other bills are reals. water. gas. sweage. i kant spel.

    i would love to apt live for life, but i aint by my self. but when im in my 50's. imma be a condo living ass ? .

    Renting instead of buying right now because I currently live in New Jersey, and there's NO WAY I'd ever buy a house here. The houses here are way overpriced, even with the market being what it is, and the property taxes in New Jersey are insanely high.

    I'll only be living here another year or two at the most, so I'll buy once I relocate.

    If you operated under that theory a few years ago you'd be down a good chunk of change.

    With the market as it is right now though, buying a house can be great long term move.
