Its time to hang it up
got a lot on my mind to ring up
phones of peers and tell em fears
that will lead to tears and jeers
of my new calling
something keep telling me to rebel verbally
instead of typing away
lay away in your skill
and never give it up
keep building up and living it up
for one day death could be calling
and life withdraw to another wallet
and respawn in another account
large amounts of ego and pain
passion and devotion is all i have to gain
sustain in the mirror staring and seeing fate clearer
the feeling thats concealing got me appealing the cracks
break down the walls and collapse
unto a new beginning where sound means travel
and mind over matter
sadder times call for desperate attempts
to exempt moments like this
no more sorrow poems and pain thats inflicted
i often have the script of which i tend to say
i'm retiring and etc and yall say...
hope you come back/we know you will some day
so i chuck the deuce fearlessly and hope that this is sincerity
for a future endeavor and recreating history
his story will say that he shall be victorious at what he does
love what he loves and don't indulge in things that often ashamed above
this is personal time i been needing
i been seeking and repeating over again
but yet fail to achieve
sort of like a sabbatical where prayer becomes living exercise
i shall survive and hope pride will die
its been fun but the dream isn't simple
still caught up in a diabolical limbo
hurt by the past so i tend to write rhymes about my past ?
smiling with dimples on the fact that money is lower than blinking insanity
i gotta ? that side of me in order to see the promises that shall come to past
no more endless loops of could haves and would have nots
time to hang it up for good
til the gloves get rusted
the ring gets demolished
and the building is condemned
memories shall still lie within
real_poet was one of the best but he don't take credit
instead he gives it
to those that expose talents to the masses
and help them to excel through classes to become dedicated to disaster called life
for those that still lie within carry on legacy and don't pretend
keep it real and straight to the point
never lie and intertwine with anything less
remember to always try your best even if writers block is epitome of stress
stay bless and live on in the rhymes of poetry
and remember poetry is the release therapy to keep you sane
from oppression and depression recipes

    this was felt real-P,

Every line gave reason as to why this is your last piece, and it was well done, I know sometimes I feel like I need a break from poetry, but as writers we all go thru that, our breaks and be on that writers block longer than expected. With that said, I hope to still see you around here, because you have been inspiring me since 2008! And I'm sure a few other can relate as well. Like always thank you for sharing, inspiring and I hope you continue to write in the future fellow poet!

Peace and blessings with each sun beam!
