Yeah, I dont know why cats want to act like non of this ever happened. Jimmy was doing his thing for a minute and stayed bubbling. We Fly high was big. Even the NY Giants made it their them song that year. Every time that song came on in the club, everybody did the lil ballin shot...even the nerds in the corner...I just dont see why net ? want to act like Jimmy wasnt hot. And it definitely was longer than 3 months.

Tech didn't release any albums in '04 or '05, and Tech's '06 release was not as big as Hustlers P.O.M.E.

I don't know if Tech has ever reached 400k in sales either. However, Tech has possibly sold more over the entire decade due to him being around longer and releasing more albums. but Jimmy was the #1 Indie artists in the mid 00's.

ON KOCH! koch is still indie but it wasn't near what it is now back in the mid 00s. Jim made them guap and put em on the map.

all indie rappers WISH they could be as succesful as jim.

Jim was never a plat rapper. he dominated the indie scene in the mid '00s because that was his lane.

what a plat rapper would've done on the indie scene in that same time period is irrelevant because it didn't happen.

Game released indie records that didn't sell as much and so did Snoop.

Jim accomplished a lot and dominated his lane.

and he will continue to dominate.

the bird flys high. dipset never had a lower point than 2009. now the momentum is coming back, they gettin that ? production again (alchemist, heatmakerz, lex luger, dr dre, araab). watch out. people stay mad at jim for being succesful with little talent and a cocky attitude. well. jim is about to put out his FIFTH album. 6th if you count the critically acclaimed mixtape harlems american gangster. how many rappers get to put out 6 albums anymore?

and the little talent thing, its not really the truth anymore. since he did the blakroc project with legendary WU members, pharoahe monch, mos def, etc.. hes stepped it up. jim aint the obvious weak leg of the dips anymore.

    CAPO

snoop and game fell off after their 1st album and was not making good music when they was on a indie

if game or snoop released their 1st album on a indie they would of ? on jim numbers

the only reason y he was on a indie cause he got dropped and no 1 want wanted 2 sign him

No they did not fall off after their first albums.

if game or snoop released their 1st album on a indie they would of ? on jim numbers

Irrelevant. Both Game and Snoop released Indie projects in the "MID 2000's" that did not match Jone's level of success. Snoop and GAME WERE BOTH STILL SELLING PLAT MAJOR WISE. Jones dominated his lane man and for some strange reason you hate that ? ..

Just because there is ONE song with them doesn't mean they are going to be on 80% of the album...

I always liked Jimmy he dropped some great music in 05 and 06 Diary Of A Summer and Hustlers POME were good. He got cocky after We Fly High and it derailed the Dips for a minute. He had Pop Champagne which was another hit.
