they overcharge for this stuff anyway
nah, they charge for what's provided.
An SSL 4000 G series would likely run you over 20-30K, used if you could ever find one for sale. The sound coming out of this collection of plugins sounds remarkably like the units on that console. To get that in a collection of plugins for under $1000 is dirt cheap considering how much they COULD charge for it. -

y'all do know that the vast majority of them bootleg plugins have trojans also, right?
Pretty much EVERY one of them that has a keygen contain a trojan as a hidden payload when you execute it (part of my daily job is to look for stuff like this and test it). The infected joints I can think of off the top of my head are Arturia's Jupiter-8V, Analog Factory, Prophet V, and Minimoog V, Novation BassStation, IK Multimedia's T-RackS and Sample Tank 2 XL, ProTools M-Powered 8, and most versions of FL Studio 8 and 9 (especially 9) floating around on various torrent sites.
And that's just the ? off the top of my head. Most of them aren't picked up by Symantec or McAfee AV software so if you're running either, and you've run a keygen in the past, you're machine has likely been compromised. -
