Maybe if you're trying to put her legs near her head the fat from her legs/and or stomach is just hindering it. Could be she's still flexible but the extra blubber is getting in the way. Try out to the side instead of back towards her head.
LMAO @ bolded. But C/S on that last part.... it probably puts less strain on the back and the hips if you try going to the side then back instead of straight up. IDK, Maybe not though.... I cannot relate to this dilemma -
