This is short, but here it is..

You!

You were that smile that was always on my face,
You filled a spot in my heart that could never be replaced,
You were my guidance when I needed help,
You were that hand that I always felt,
You were that voice I always heard,
Anytime I got jam and needed a good word.
Now you’re in the wind that I feel everyday,
And you’re the light that shows me the right way,
You’re in my heart even after the end,
Cause you always be my best friend.

    Lol Thanks! I enjoyed writing this piece.. Altho it was short, but sometimes those are the best pieces too..

    You know what I hate! That my poems are like proses! Because this piece is actually for my first love that passed away, my best friend too.. I miss him like crazy.. He was a straight poet.. Would sing to me, recite poems to me, perform for me.. Dam.. I miss that!

    Anyways that's what that is!

    Somestimes some of my best poems is short, concise and to the point.. and this is one of them..I appreaciate you reading, commenting and diggin this jawn..

    Feels good that I can' move ya'll on such scales of appreciating what my heart spits..

    I'm glad you could relate in sort of way, and because of great poets like you, I will continue to be inspired by ya'll and keep writing fa sho.

    Thanks for reading and commenting.. And I mean that..as writers its always nice to hear other peoples thoughts or perspectives on the poem or yet critique so we can become beter writers.
