so i got this off Amazon, apparently Joell gor ? by his label or something since the album drops in like 3 months. bad for him.
i gave the album a listen, i liked the Lox feature that song was good, the intro is dope along a few other tracks.
but no Project Boy? no We Dont Believe You? no Night Train? really?. any of those songs > any song on the album (except maybe for the beat on Call Me, wich btw isnt the same from the vid). Fat Joe feature is meh.
The Brick: Bodega Chronicles > Free Agent.
wich isnt sayin its a bad album, its just not better.

Surprised he got dropped from his label, his Farewell Summer mixtape showed off his skills to the fullest along with his ear for beats. Particularly this track:
-
last track on that explains the whole Shady/Slaughterhouse situation

Where you been at Just? I never caught the explanation of the Shady/Slaughterhouse. -

talking about this one
not really and explanation rather than something we all know tho. -

Props, I remember listening to that now and then skipping straight back to the track I posted.
Be interesting to see where he goes from here... -
This is why I oppose fighting to get a mainstream contract, because they pull slick ? like this!!
He gets dropped? (Idda know, this is the first I'm hearing it) then the two or three singles that have beem getting radio time
don't appear on the album? This is why people want to listen to the album first or download it, because they pull ? like this!
I hope he has his copies of the tracks! -
ooh man i anticipated this & I'm calling it now!Ye might sign him to Good Music I thought it was random when he mentioned JOelle at his recent Hot 97 interview with Flex. That will be some major damage to the game to see what the Rosewood movement can do with Joell would be good looks man

That would be nice, Joell could definitely hold up some great tracks with Ye behind him... not sure of his storytelling abilities, but he's definitely nice with it; just haven't listened to him enough. -

its a crime this song wasnt on the album
-
Ultimately this is pretty forgettable, unfortunately. Some dope rhymes and songs scattered throughout, but some of the highlights were previously heard on the EP, and overall the beats are fairly generic and lacking. Does not match the Brick or what Joell is capable of.

Nice track and maybe he's saving it????
Papp is always nice with it, don't care if he can blow up or not, he's still nice.
