( please mods don't move) could someone recommend the best software so i can burn a movie unto a dvd and play it on my dvd player....

this depends on if you already have the movie file (.mpg, .avi, etc) on your drive

DVD Flick
it's free, user friendly, nothing fancy, and region free
but if you're looking for elaborate menus and other features, it's not for you. This is a basic as you're going to get.
