Standing now, as still as a tree, I catch a whiff
The breeze carries her scent
I drift off like leaves as I dream of her ferment
Blown into a swirl of love, but this tornado has long but passed
Yet I can’t help but spin
Debris from our once home now sets the tone, I find myself reaching for the phone
A pre recorded voice, as this seems to be a pre fabricated dream
Her scent leaves with the sound of rings
I pick up the phone, but not a sound escapes, because..............

It hurts when I breathe
