    Shearer got a mention because of bias haha
    Gerd Muller was a legendary striker; one of the best records at both club and international level and before Ronaldo was the leading goalscorer in World Cup history. Bobby Charlton really set the template for attacking midfielders and is probably the greatest ever English footballer (maybe another bit of bias to have him there but he's definitely a legend, regardless of what people say)

    gerd muller is legendary, i dont dispute that but i jus cant understand how he better than eusebio,garrincha,van basten,kempes,ronaldo??

    Charlton is the best english player but cruyf for me set the template of what an attackin midfielder shud be

    Gerd Muller did everything he needed to at a high quality, he didnt need to try and do anything over the top. I nearly had Eusebio over him; I did have van Basten and Ronaldo in there though

    Yeah, I suppose, but Charlton came before Cruyff and really helped to start off the trend of midfielders scoring goals regularly. Again though, I had both.

    I think either way you could have a load of different players for this because its open to how you view it all at the end of the day which makes it so good imo
