one of the greatest wrestlers i have ever seen...
been a fan since reading about him in a pwi book
the first match i saw of him was the premiere of ecw on tnn, when the re-aired the match with jerry lynn -
first wwf theme, IMO, better than the one usually used in wwe -
appreciated....

He use to go hard. anyone who hasn't seen his match with jerr flynn need to check it out. IMO his craziest exploits came when he was with Sabu. They had fonzie's ? ass screaming and blowing that whistle while they were rushing the ring and hitting people with ? like the " Original" rolling thunder. Man thats when wrestling was wrestling, ECW was ahead of it's time and RVD was the inovator of what wrestling would become and the Whole ? Show. If ECW was had never merged with WWE I'd probably still watch wrestling. -

One of the main reasons I started watching wrestling when I was a teenager. Very underrated indeed.

I cosign every single thing said in here so far. I wish he would come back to WWE tho.... I can't stand TNA. Not because I've always watched WWE/ECW, but I just can't get into that ? . It seems like everything TNA does is a bootleg remake of something Raw did a few weeks ahead of them. ? just doesn't work for me. RVD is on of tha GOAT tho, without a doubt.
