    It will also help to build the strength of your leg muscles, like the calves for example. I've gotten into running over the past 6 months and one thing I've noticed is my calves getting stronger and more toned. Obviously weight training your legs will do more for size and strength, but running helps them out nonetheless.

    Yes indeed. I was a dancer when I was younger so I still had that toning and definition left from back then but with running it maintains it and my calves and thigh muscles are looking really healthy.
