CYNE's First Person Versus CunninLynguists/Kno's Abstract/Reality...

I maybe putting my neck on the line here, but I believe CYNE's First Person was a highly influential piece in Kno's Abstract Reality sampled from the Shawn Phillips track.
I say this because it was released 3 years earlier, so I'm assuming CYNE were the first to sample the track.
In which case, Enoch and Speck deserve their props as it's a wonderful track to sample and it helped them create a backdrop for some of the best lyrics Cise Starr and Akin have ever amounted to on a track.
The introduction is timeless, "I was a child of the 80's growing up in the 90's, a small black child of power, you couldn't find me."
Personally, I feel the lyrics on First Person put the track above Kno's slowed up version, although I have listened to both many times throughout the years.
Which do you prefer?

Thanks for this, I didn't know about it.
Always loved Kno's version but this is very might be better off one listen. -

No problem and if you're feeling it, you should definitely check CYNE out. They're incredible and recommended in the other thread for you.
