Giving Her Love....I.O.U for the world

Past relationships I shower my beauties
giving them things to bring joy but it ends up temporary relief
its so deep that I keep the focus on spending on
instead of spending time with each of them
I guess this is why I'm in the predicament
waiting impatiently for a simple cent
to give her the common things that a woman wants
last year I gave the world to my one and only
only to feel the lonely pockets and hurting because i can't give her everything
simple things by usher keeps repeating on windows media play deck
but yet i'm failing to see that
the past is the past and I'm learning to earn my one and only prospect
to yearn for my love like a old school cassette
but i fail to comprehend that money don't buy happiness
just hopelessness
sad excuses of going to stores
spending habits galore
pay checks going to the finer things
instead of stacking up and giving her something she adores
my affection and my protection
nevermore quoted for perfection
see i'm a mere being trying to get adjusted to this recession theme
she wants me to see that shes not going anywhere
but pride and ego is not taking me to the scriptures she depicts
so I just sit back and think of a time when my money was exquisite
and happiness was a store visit
in the end i fail to see such vision but i can learn
by starters giving her the world
and a i.o.u when i get back on feet
with a shape of a circle with funny looking shapes within it
