LYRICAL EXECUTIONS TOURNAMENT #3

Check in by Sunday, July 24, 2011 11:59 pm Eastern time.
Verses are due by Tuesday, July 26, 2011 11:59 pm Eastern time.
Voting will end on Thursday, July 28, 2011 11:59 pm Eastern time.

These due dates are final. Beware: 1 minute late will result in a DQ.
Due dates will be extended only when the site goes down.

Rules
Mandatory 16 lines.
Only one round.
First to 3 votes wins. (The voting panel of 5 will vote. Only their votes count.)
50 posts to vote unless you are participating in the tourney.
All votes MUST be explained well and no crew or hate votes.
NO FEEDING!
BITING is an instant disqualification.

Take criticism like a man. Quit trying to vote sway and explain your bars in. Everyone has their own opinion.

    The rules say 16 lines. ^^ That's 21 lines. Before the voters can start voting, edit your verse to 16 lines.

    I am going to put this battle on hold. Next round, I will explain every rule that isn't self-explanatory. Seeing as though nkflier23 posted a verse before deaththreats and deleted it, then posted another more battle orientated verse, I don't think he deserves to be disqualified. I could understand if he was me, love yal, or thedesolateone who know what is feeding by now. But the decision to DQ those 4 people who did not check in on time or drop their verses on time stand. That's either lazy or unfortunate BC they could not be online. To them, I suggest planning to post their verses early like sniperk to meet deadlines. Anyway, I'm gonna close this thread until nkflier23 messages me his new verse by tomorrow before midnight eastern timezone unless deaththreats is fine with nkflier23 feeding off of him for this round only.

    To deaththreats: if you are fine with nkflier23 feeding, send me a message saying you are so that I could reopen this thread for voting.

    To nkflier23: I've sent you a PM already about this. If you don't see an additional PM regarding if deaththreats is fine about your current verse feeding, then you should probably go ahead and write a new verse before Wednesday, July 27, 2011 11:59 pm Eastern time.

    Again, the reason feeding is not allowed is BC these are only 1 round battles. Which means if deaththreats drops first and nkflier23 feeds, he has an advantage to play off his rhymes and turn them on him and deaththreats does not have that chance since there is no round two where nkflier23 goes first and deaththreats feeds.     i think this battle was close but deaththreats wins it for me, he took something he knew about nkflier and dissed him around that, nice metaphors and creativity in the bars as well.

    deaththreats - I thought his bars were very creative and the way he brought up homies posting career like that was the nail in the coffin. overall I thought the whole verse was potent as ? .

    nkflier23 - lyrics were ok, and it flowed well. I thought you could have been more creative and witty and you should have attempted to respond more venomously than you did.
