Yup and Id take ECW RVD over WWF HBK any day.

Okay, let's look at the tale of the tape.

    Wrestling skill: HBK.

    Mic skill: HBK.

    Classics: HBK.

    Entrance music: RVD by default.

i think rvd is easily in hbk's league as far as wrestling skill... ecw was more than a bunch of ? matches...

i said ECW RVD meaning 95 ish to 2001 over WWF HBK which is 88-98.

I'd take the RVD ECW collection set over HBK's WWF set .

Who watches RVD for mic skills? (sounds like a WWE zombie argument) You watch him purely for the athletic fest and sometimes even technical fest he held in that ECW ring PLUS INGENUITY. It was unmatched for its time at least in the US.

    I'm not saying I don't enjoy RVD.

I'm just saying he's not on HBK's level in terms of anything.

    - lookin back i can see why purists and non ecw fans hated ecw. at times it does look sloppy and it can be a big spot..rest..spot fest. no ring psychology.
thing is, alot of ecw wasnt like that. there was great tech wrestling in ecw,but it gets overshadowed by the spotfests in nostalgia

    - sucked to be lance storm. he had a good feud with rvd but he never got cheered for. he was an amazing athlete and when he got to wwe they made him take a "boring" gimmick. i member the time when lance storm had someone in a half boston crab and they had stone cold come out and break up the match,c'mon, thats total disrespect to the workers. honestly, now that i think about it, scsa is an ? for goin along with the angle.

And thats why HBK and taker are considered the two greatest stars of all time plus their longevity. It really separates you from the pack when you have the talent plus the psychology that I feel 95% of wrestlers today(if not more) lack period.

    actually
i think lance storm was decent on the mic
in wcw he was a great leader for team canada

he was a serious persona,so his mic skills should reflect someone that is serious about an invasion,
    not a flamboyant person

i dont even remember if they tried to do the team canada angle in wwf/e,
it woulda been to similar to RTC if they did

i think that was the problem,
you had two guys with the same persona and similar talent from the same place

its like having two point guards,
they both cant be on the same team
