    Saw it.

    Huge let down. Snyder needs to be a director of photography, not a director. His visual style is grade A, but he can't tell a story. Not that the story wasn't full of problems to begin with.

    Best part of the movie was the cover of "Sweet Dreams" by Emily Browning.

    The movie's main storyline is about a girl suffering sexual abuse inside of a mental hospital. The brothel is one layer of fantasy, the action sequences are a second layer of fantasy that kicks in when things get extreme instead of mundane in the hospital.

    It's hard to even be aroused at the sexy costumes and cat fighting because the context is so dark. Yes, she is walking around in a hot anime school girl outfit with a sword and guns, but you are aware that in 'real life' she's being sexually abused.

    these last 3 posts are on point. took me forever to get around to watching this movie but that ? was sick. i can tell some people don't get high before you watch a movie..

    I saw the movie Sucker Punch last night on DVD. I think the visuals were pretty much stunning with very few exceptions, but they are easily forgiven and not distracting at all, the movie starts out cool, gets weird, gets really good and goes back and fourth a lot.

    The movie was wack. Visually it was good. Storyline, terrible. The action scenes was the only good thing about the movie. Other than that, it made no sense.

    Funny how they tell chicks who get sexually accosted to just drift their minds away to a far off place...then in the end she says stand up and fight. That didn't make sense.

    But they just wanted an ultra cool movie that was parallel to a video game...and they accomplished it...

    And who in the hell said the skinny frail blonde broad was hot??? You crazy son...broad looks like her sex game is boring...
