How much of an impact will No ID have in improving the product that Def Jam is putting out? Will he be able to change the

creative direction of a label that has been on its last legs finically for quite some time?

No ID needs to change Def Jam. They need to get their rep back by signing quality artist. He needs to take them back to setting standards n not following trends... Def Jam, Dynamo? In order to get ahead, u need somebody trying to be ahead. Who else got their music playing across the world without help of a major or outside sponsors? Dynamo. Who else performed on National TV and had labels calling? Dynamo. Who else refuses to follow trend n sticks with his own way of doing things? Dynamo.Who else done been on a European and African tour while still being independent? Dynamo.

If they were smart they would of adjust to the game, be more than just a label and starting managing and setting up tours. These old labels are pretty much good for back catalogs now, they aren't breaking or building artist anymore.

As for NO ID, it's a tough position to be in. We are in a era of albums not selling, and you have true hiphop fans wanting better music, when better music isn't what's selling.
