    yes, seriously.

Power of the Dollar is one of the most underrated albums of all time

The realness in this song >>> anything on RD or IllmaticOld 50 was the GOAT

Realer than "Regrets" or "D'evils" or "Dead Presidents 2"? Nah, great track though.

Choosing Illmatic as a classic over anything every time is just a cliche for hip hop heads. Sometime it feels like dudes are scared to be look at funny for thinking on their own and not go with popular opinion.
Many hip hop album albums better than it.

Personally, I'd enjoy Power Of The Dollar over Illmatic, heck even GRODT.

oops, i'm not suppose to have my own taste and opinion. Illmatic is the best of best and all I'll ever think is better.

POTD don't even belong to that list. It's good underground release, but neither lyricism nor impact and overall effect can match RD & Illmatic.

Many people choose it because they view it as such.

Just because you dont feel the same doesnt make it cliche or make people scared into going with it. Quit trying to turn your opinion into fact.

RD didn't have an initial big impact - its only after when Jay-Z blew up that it was highly regarded

Power of The Dollar - Hard to Say cuz 50 was suppose to shoot the Thug Love video with beyonce but he got shot - and album got shelved even though it was leaked

Illmatic didnt make much of an impact outside NY
