because he didn't drop an album between 2005 and 2009 and then when he came back with imperial blaze that's what the concept was:
"Sean Paul told MTV that he wants to be less focused on party songs such as Get Busy, We Be Burnin', and Temperature. He said he wants his songs to focus on youth violence in Jamaica"
still charted at position 12. but he killed his career with that 4 year gap and stoppin to make party joints... -

I find it funny how many artists claim they want to make meaningful music, but settle for the same old pop ? . LOL at people not knowing "deport them" is not a party track -
Thank you. How ? gonna say Sean Paul brought dancehall to the states. ? you'd have to give Shaggy props way before Sean Paul.
Shabba the OG. Ting-a-ting-a-ting-a-l-ting-a-l-ting-a-li-ting-a-li-ting-a-lin-ting-aling-ting-a-ling!
I remember this ? had brooklyn on LOCK all summer
For ? that know, Supercat was a real ass ? . He put in some work in bk back at the day.
I was like 7 or 8 when World Dance dropped. I remember that ? like it was yesterday. It was like the world stopped. EEEVERY body was on that ? HARD. Same with "Mr. Bombastic". My neighbors would blast the ? outta them party speakers early every saturday. And when "Heads High" by Mr. Vegas dropped....LAAAAWD!!
And this riddim righchere shut ? down too.
They played this at EVERY party in my neighborhood. -

Actually if you wanna be real Shabba and them ? was huge back in the early 90s. But to our generatoin it was Beanie Man
yeah, Shabba, Supercat, Patra and 'nem laid it down for us. -
Who really expected a light skinned ? being the king of dancehall in the states??
That's like a white guy being the best in hip hop...oh wait....nevermind. -
Sean Paul music stay getting major burn.. And Stage One was my ? I put a lot of people on because my family from JA always sent me his ? early damn near years before he was even heard of him in the states. I remember being one of the few people hype to see him make that cameo in Belly.
But yea it seemed like he over saturated the market with his voice, then up and disappeared. True he still tours and sells overseas.Yall dudes funny with this light skinned ? though. -
he had some bangers

people talkin he liteskin blabla...vybz kartel is a lightie too my nigs

You know why, cause fans are so fickle. Why don't you support your favorite artists by buying their albums and going to their concerts. No, you would rather buy a bootleg and when they come to perform in your town you be like, "Damn, concert tickets too expensive", but you pay thousands of dollars for that weave on your head. Rock fans support their own, Rolling Stones is like 70 plus and they still sell out concerts. black people don't support their own for ? , but we quick to jump on the flavor of the month BET tells you is hot.

Sean Paul has a world wide hit song called GOT TO LOVE YOU with Alexis Jordan. Just because urban radio and EBT television isn't forcing ? down your throats doesn't mean people aren't popping off else where.
