Whats best way youve gotten out of a beat slump?

Try listening to a different genre of music altogether. You can get inspired from hearing other sounds and cadences.

Also take a break from listening to just your beats. It's real easy to get stuck in a pattern doing that.

I listen to new music...or start playing with a sound i never thought of before.

Make beats totally out of my comfort zone to experiment with sounds...for it's easy to allow myself to stay stuck in the box.
