    the 80's are loaded with great classic tunes that will never die.. Unless you narrow the question to specific Genre's i could get carpal tunnel naming all the greatness from this era

    for sake of argument i will name ten of my favs from the R&B format im not even touching the great songs of rock and hip hop released in the period. id be here forever

    95% of these 80's songs are still great 25-30 years after there release. and you always want to hear them again

    95% of y2k music gets stale 25-30 months after release. and it sounds like garbage you never want to hear again
