    He did DAWN OF THE DEAD the remake which was good...

    Then he made the direct to dvd DAY OF THE DEAD the remake, playing ANOTHER character, which was pretty bad...

    Now this, this actually looks like it might be a little less bad than DAY OF THE DEAD though based on the trailer...

    Ving is one of my favs but yeah he does just about anything handed to him nowadays...

    What other movies can he do though?? Like Michael Clarke Duncan, he's always going to be that big, black grunt, no matter what.

    It's sad, Ving Rhames is an entertaining guy, but it's not much out there for him

    Word, i was watching a interview he was doing for behinds the scenes of Death Race 2 (straight to dvd of course) and he sounded like he didn't even kno what da ? he was doing there. He was like "I don't even know what the director's vision is or what my character is supposed to be.... I'm just here for $$$".

    Yeah ever since the 2007 incident where Ving's dogs attacked his caretaker and he died (not from the wounds inflicted by the dogs but from a heartattack says doctor) he just been doing everything...

    Since 2007 he has done or is currently in production of 46 movies (!) from 2006 back to 1985 he had 59 actinggigs (movies and tv-series)...

    Sure he's become more famous which can have something to do with it too but yeah I mean 46 movies in 5 years (some of these are set to release in 2012, one of them being DEATH RACE: INFERNO btw) kinda speaks for itself...

    Yea but i still don't see why he makes the choices he makes. I heard about him not wanting to do Mission Impossible 4 because he wanted more money, yet u doing these cheap ass straight to DVD ? ? How much can them cheap productions actually be paying you? Then I actually go and see Mission Impossible 4 and this ? has a brief 15 second cameo in the end. WTF? I don't see the logic.
