Is it just me or do you no longer know who the best player in the NBA anymore?

It used to be kobe, espn tried to shove lebron down our throats until everyone realized he couldnt win a championship by hisself, rose had a mvp season but no chips n was taken out by lebron n wade, then dirk has the best playoffs in years plus a chip to show for it but nobody is really calling him the best... Durant has the numbers but cant reach the finals yet, meli n stoudamire are in the same boat figuratively n literally speaking, n dwight howard is in a sinking ship, while we can agree guys like blake griff, cp3, and kevin love are on the outside of this discussion ...

    This can only mean one of two things: There's more talent in todays game overall when rating the best players or todays best players are not talented enough to fully seperate themselves from the bunch as the clear cut best player....Wade is the best player overall when healthy imo but I can see how many feel there is no clear cut best

    I did exactloy what you did except used more examples to completely ? on your argument. You used him stopping Rose as a example of him being a great defender. I countered that with several players who gave him bucket.

    kobe looks like the best now again.. but two weeks from now it will be Derrick Rose... than 3 weeks form now Wade... then the week after that Lebron.. then Durant 4 weeks after that... then kobe again when he goes on another 40 point games streak..
