All of these labels were on top of the game @ one point or the other for a 10-11 stretch from 1993-2004, which one of em in your opinion dominated the most during that time frame.

    how is bad boy defunct?

anyway in their prime deathrow was the most dominate between 92-96. Bad Boy has longevity, and No Limit was hot for like a year and half in the late 90's. No Limit didn't blow up on a nationwide scale until late 97 and they ran until 99. Cash Money is doing alright with Wayne.

Yeah y'all are right but u gotta look @ the timeline I gave out. From like 93-2003-2004. Now if we goin by longevity and til now Cash Money wins easily thanks to Wayne holdin down the fort after the Hot Boys left, and bringing n the Young Mibey crew. But goin back to my topic it's gotta be Death Row, from 93-96 they were unstoppable. They didn't even out many albums during that stretch and still sold like 50 million copies in a 4 year stretch that ? WILL NEVER happen again.

@Soufside quality and quantity my ? !!! The inc was cool, but they were really a one man army, Roc-A-Fella went way harder than they did in the early 2000's.

Deathrow was the most dominate during its hey day, But sadly Badboy is still here so it is a toss up with YMCMB runnig a third given they are over a decade...

bad boy is still here only because puff is still here puttin his face in ? 's videos and ?
    ymcmb is selling records
    they droppin hits
plus it ain't over a decade, it's over 20 years
Cash Money Records been around since the early 90s
they are clearly head and shoulders above the rest of these labels

Am I the only person who wonders what woulda happened if PAC wouldn't got shot and killed in Vegas & Bug suge nem wouldn't have smashed Orlando Anderson @ the MGM Grand??? I wonder how would that ? have played out. Would Snoop and the Pound stayed??? Would PAC have left the label after the 7 day theory album dropped??? I guess we'll never know.

I'd say its between Roc-A-Fella and Death Row.

Bad Boy might still be around but they've only had 1 artist that will actually be remembered. Will anyone remember Young Joc, Cassie, Danity Kane, etc? Nah..
