UNC set to make history Thursday if they win the National Champ. game

first off 3 final fours in a row. that must be mentioned.

Now if they win they'll be the first team to be the current NCAA and NIT champions. Obviously, that distinction will only last until Sunday, but after Sunday they would still be the first team to follow an NCAA title with an NCAA title in the following year.

A dubious distinction indeed.


So tune in Thursday to see if them Heels can win back to back National titles and addd one more banner to the Dean Dome. And ? , even if they lose it FINALLY means Marcus Ginyard will never play another game again. So its a win-win really.

    i never gave any attention to the NIT until this year and it was strictly because of the tar Heels. Ive been a fan of their b-ball team since like '94, so im glad they are doing something in the NIT this will only help them next year
