Exclusive: TNA to Adhere to Stricter TV Guidelines For Impact

WZ has learned tonight that with the announcement of Impact Wrestling going live this summer, TNA will be adhering very strictly to PG-13 guidelines where its television programming is concerned.

Sources have added that TNA will make a more deliberate attempt to mirror WWE in this regard.

    they might as well sell the video library and close it's doors

    they have to be the alternative to WWE, not be the WWE. I guess they want to draw in the kiddie fanbase, since it would seem that the adult fanbase don't count toward any rankings they are monitoring.

    damn, if this news is true, it hurts to read. ECW was successful because it was different than WWF and WCW, they used original ideas and concepts that drew fans to admiring the programming. But what TNA is rumored to be doing is throwing in the towel and, as they say, "if you can't beat them, join them".

    They already have WWEish colors with SmackdownLite, and first it was RAWLite, and using throwaway WWE talent, now they are going to use the same ratings guidelines. Yeah, throw in the towel, sell, sell, sell, and go on with your lives.

    X-Pac said in an interview a couple weeks ago that within 10 years, Vince will own the library to TNA. He has no faith in the company succeeding because he's been there and he notices they have made no improvements since his couple stints.

    TNA will never succeed, the exact same people that bankrupt WCW is the same people that run TNA. All Hogan and Bischoff do is collect paychecks and give their kids jobs, im surprised a mutiny haven't happened backstage like it did in WCW

    No difference TV14 & PG13 is the same thing...only difference is one is a TV rating & one is a movie rating. News site probably had no traffic so it created a story just to a hate on TNA
