Agreed! The set up to this album has been top notch. Unlike like his previous albums. Besides Columbia's handling of Illmatic. I cant think of any of his others that have had this strategic marketing.

Different but I like it. It does mean through the good and bad times, never forget that Life is a Blessing thus the title "Life Is Good". He's saying after the drama, he's good. Interesting cover.

I don't see it as killing his spirit at all. That is the mother of his son, he will always have love for her for that. She was also the 1st woman NaS every married. The Wedding Dress symbolizes that he's moved on and it's doing fine. Sure it's a subliminal at Kelis but it's a broader message again about never letting the bad times let you lose sight that Life is truly a blessing (Good).
