why do people go to concerts only to pull out their cellphones to record the whole time?

Isn't that against the whole point of going to a concert, to let yourself go and enjoy live music. Why does everyone want to turn in Hype Williams when they are at a concert?
They should ban cameras at concerts like how they do at comedy shows.

Same reason why mufuckas yell out "WORLDSTAR WORLDSTAR!!!!" whenever something happens and they record it, even tho Worldstar makes all the money and they have no affiliation with them.
Even tho im a young guy myself the best way to describe this generation is "attention craving" -
So you can watch it later too. I recorded the Nas/DMX concert from June and I thoroughly enjoyed myself and continue to do so when I watch it again

The footage usually does suck but I just do it to show it to other people or look back on it especially if I'm really close. I won't do it for multiple songs and ? just at certain moments or when it gets real live...

If you got a good spot and not to many people bumping you then yeah, why not record. But if you're in a packed venue it makes no sense to try and record that ? .

I don't get it either. Same with girls on my facebook taking pics of it and all you see is a bunch bright lights and a blurry outline of whoever it is.
