Lakers would have the stretch 4 for nash, with dwight...kobe eating off easy baskets and ron wide open all day....? even bynum and love would have been unstoppable on the boards.
that team would be a problem not only for present but years to come. Love has improved tremendously every year since back when he was a fat ass.
Lakers discussed a multitude of options and trade scenarios around then, lamar/gasol-love/williams, picks gasol-love...but lakers stuck with their core for another run with phil and then cp3 deal fiasco.

nah Lakers didn't pull trigger, and after pau's bad playoff in 2011, and love's improved play then the trade went cold as wolves saw the potential with Love as he came back in great shape year after year -
