Its time to answer the age old question. What do you think is better and why

JRPGJRPG. They just have overall better story, gameplay, and music.
I can't get into WRPGs, especially The Elder Scrolls games, unless they're modded out the ass.

I consider myself a gamer and dont know WTF these are and never heard of the acronyms. I will guess Japan and Western RPG's, I dont think normal people know or care of the difference. You should add a description of the choices and examples of games.

WRPG as of the last 7 years.

Not this ? again.
*Prepares to hear the stereotype of it being anime style main hero with ridiculous spiky hair with a big sword and has to save thebworld*
I blame FF7 for this

JRPGJRPG for me
I could never get into WRPG, I find them boring for some reason. Only WRPG i've beaten would be Demon Souls and whether that is a WRPG or JRPG is debateable -
WRPGAfter the year 2000 it's been WRPGs and it really hasn't been close.

I stopped ? with both. Both have a theme that's literally been ran into the ground. Mass Effect was the only refreshing series I still got down with. Persona is the only one I'm still interested in playing once a PC or Xbox version comes out. I did enjoy skyrim, but it was still more of the same ? story wise. I needed something different years ago. There's only so much dragons, elves, spiky hair, and big swords one can take.

I doubt Persona will come out on the PC or Xbox.

WRPGI used to like JRPG's more. But like someone said above, like the last decade has been WRPG's for me.
