i don't think Tebow will be a bad player, but its odd they trade to get Quinn and then trade to get Tebow.

I guess we are gonna find out what Tebow is going to be faster than most of us expected. You draft him in the first round and people are gonna expect him to play by year two at least .... I say McDaniels lose his job in 2-3 years.

Just look at the subjects on this board. Of any player drafted last night...Tebow has the most threads about him. He's being talked about more than the #1 pick Bradford.
Not too mention the #1 google search today. That has nothing to with playing the game but shows the public is intrigued by the guy even after being the most talked about NCAA player in recent years.
anyway, a few teams were trying to secure Tebow late in the first per ESPN and NFL Net.

And no u shouldn't draft for the fans but when you draft these ? ass players every year in the first round, why not take a chance on this kid over AluAlu or whoever this DL is from Cal?
They could've traded down from #10 and got extra pick(s) and got Tebow late in first because word was he wasn't going to the 2nd round per ESPN.
