I think i strained it playing basketball. but its been hurting for weeks now... and it doesnt get better over time... its pain... and its growing.

I am looking into playing college basketball next year and am curious if there is a specific type of weight training program that i should use. I have lifted before, but not with a program that i was consistant with. Any advice?
