It will be a few months before we get an official buyrate for the WrestleMania 29 pay-per-view but F4Wonline.com reports that three different sources this past week stated that very early estimates do not look good. One number being floated around was "downright shocking." WWE's own internal projections were lowered substantially in the final week before the pay-per-view based on the Elimination Chamber buys coming in lower than expected

They did "Once in a Lifetime" twice and everyone knew what was gonna happen.
What did they expect? -
Rocky wasn't worth it.
Should've done Punk vs Cena, Ironman match. -

This generation of WWE need that match to happen at a wrestlemania. -
It was the most predictable event in history. No big match except Punk/Taker (which was also predictable) was fresh, all were rehashes of matches from last year.

Vince needs to build for the future of the WWE, not keeping bringing back old names for the simplicity of money.

We are usually given random segments at Wrestlemania. That didnt happen. And second, how do you expect us to catch on to new acts if you keep giving us rematches. This years Wrestlemania was 4/10 and I gave it that because of the punk/taker and brock/HHH matches.

That's great maybe Vince will take his head out of cena's ass now
-
Vince is obsessed with WM having a million buys. Mainly because he spends way too much money on the event, with those crazy stadiums, marketing & promotions, celebrities and ? . He complained about WM doing 800,000 buys in like 2009....really? 800,000 buys? What other than UFC & Boxing doing those kinds of numbers? No other wrestling event gets those kinds of numbers and then it only happened ONCE.
He freaked out, nevermind the rate went back up over 900 the next two events it wasn't a million. -

Yeah Wm 26 did 800,000 buys that's probably why the Rock came to make the next 3 wrestlemania appearances 27,28,29. -
Great maybe Vince will get it that Cena is not going to always bring in top dollar, it seems like he always does three predictable things.
1. Rematches
2. Cena being in The Main Event
3. Bringing in Part-Timers
He ? up by giving Rock The WWE Title and letting him debut the new belt, why do that and Rock nor the new title was seen on Raw most of his reign and the dude that carried the title for 434 days gets to take on Taker and be another notch in Taker's Wrestlemania streak and Mr. Same Old ? gets a title shot?! -
I could see why cm punk wants to walk out of this circle ?
-
good maybe this will be a wake up call to the wwe. nobody really wanted to see Cena/Rock II, the WWE has been lazy lately and that was a product of that laziness. HHH/Brock, Rock/Cena II and Taker/CM Punk were the only big matches and a bunch of forgettable ? in the mid card. They need to hop off Cena's ? and actually build up some damn stars.

It would be dope if half the roster walked out, went to TNA and built it up.
Imagine the hate and awesome ratings it would bring. -

I honestly don't understand why a group of them won't bolt like Eddie and Benoit did wcw. Wwe is a stale product, Cm Punk is the only thing fresh there. They lack unpredictably, the writing sucks, and the don't groom talent. -
if they were smart......
if they were......next year, punk vs ziggler, unification of titles, iron man match....
guarantee it will be the biggest mania this decade...
two of the best in ring workers, going at it.....? would be bananas -

I don't understand why this feud doesn't happen.
One would have to go face though probably Ziggler. -
i don't think either would HAVE to go face..they both can remain their current characters....
cuz they're both over as heel-ish characters as of right now....
i didn't like punk as a face...he was at his best when he feuded with john cena....neither was a heel...they were just two dudes going for a title....
i mean...when punk comes back, give him an immediate run at the title....and have him go on his best of the world rant only to be interrupted by ziggler, who's obviously been feeling himself since becoming champ...
now you got two ego maniacs beefing with each other to prove who's the best champion....
? would be an awesome buildup, and their matches would be GOAT -

Welp the preliminary estimates are 1.2 million buys for WM 29 (lower than last year but still pretty good), this WM was also the highest grossing event overall as well
I guess dirtsheets lose again
