Commonaww man this is tough. I really like both. common discography is better but em is just ill too. I'll choose common because he been nice longer than em and still didn't fall off.

you gon explain why you flagged me? Am I supposed to think like the rest of yall? We on a message board, so ? gon have different opinions, and might not like what you like.
I feel that ? thes best cause he can make heartfelt songs, great hooks, pop songs, never been outshined on a track, extremely lyrical, & most of all....the dude cares about his craft, and takes the ? seriously. He aint just hopping in the booth to make a suit happy, or cause he wanna hop on the next hot ? bandwagon. He, Jay, 3stacks, Nas, & TIP round out my Top 5.
Yall need to learn when cats is just trolling, and when ppl just giving an opinion not matter how unpopular. -

I think Common is the better artist, but Em is the better emcee (from a technical standpoint). Common's discography > Em's discography. Em got 'em on flow and delivery.
Common is a dope rapper. His flow is a little rough, but he can definately rhyme. He been doing this for over 20 years and he's still putting out good product. Only wack album I can remember was Electric Circus but luckily he bounced back from that. He wanted to step out the box, experiment and artists should be allowed to do so IMO. Common is def one of the heavyweights.
I have very rarely seen Eminem get outshined on a track. Nobody's disputing the fact he got skills. However I question his song making ability cuz it's almost criminal for an emcee with his skillset to have such a weak discography. Imagine a legitimate GOAT contender like Jay Z or Nas having songs like "My name is", "The Real Slim Shady", "Without me", "Big Winnie" etc. in their discography. -

But Common's discography is far more consistent and has a lot more replay value than Eminem. Common gets my vote. -

No way in hell B. Em was too inconsistent on that album. Hailie's Song is on there and that ? is garbage, so is My Dad's Gone Crazy. There are ZERO wack tracks on Be. I'm a defender of Em from the "doo doo munkee" crowd but no way bruh. I respect your opinion though because I ? with Till I Collapse, Sing For The Moment & Superman. -

My Dad's Gone Crazy is ? , aside from "me and Dre have been ? with hats off". And the rap verse from Hailie's Song is fire too, so I gave that a pass. -
