Chaos and self destruction

how I can handle this
when i'm lost at words and verbs
spit out nouns to make a direct sound to the youth
from age 1 and 2
by the age of 3 and 4 they are exploring sponge like soak-age
violence in homes, little girl in between pressure
little boy molestation later on a proper demonstration
to the later generation
music is corruption
which one is the devil
the camel labeled money making rebel
or the money making persuading record deal labels
no need to read a fable
no need to run for cover
we are lost as a few and mishandled as a dozen
broken yokes and weed smoke
recession driven madmen with gun toke
Chicago violence and prayer sessions

2001 to new beginning hes begging for repentance
while the poor bloke awaiting for Jesus forgiveness
for whats he's about to witness

he fails and the capital crawls
nobodies smiling and trying to appeal this day of judgement
music starts.....long pause...hand gesture turns into a holy cross
gun is back in the shelf
magically a week later he seeks help
the man delivers his speech
he reaps as the prophecy that was read
is now broken

I think the length may have taken away from your over all point but this was good read none the less. It painted a dark picture, I saw grey skies when reading this, thunder rolling, the whole ? lol...definately enjoyed it

this was something that I been wanting to write a piece like this..
Especially during this time with the whole Arizona immigration law and all that racial profiling bs.
Thnx for the inspiration, I'm gon create something with the likes of prophecy!
