What does the movies, TV show, and modeling have to to with the music though? That would make Will Smith the GOAT rapper because he has blockbuster movies, a hit telveision show, etc.

If you put Queen Latifah's music career up against Missy's, it's not really close. Queen is the better entrepreneur, but aside from that, Missy definitely has the edge.

Again, Latifah has my respect, but musically, the only edge she has over Missy is lyrics and content.

I actually say her live in 1991 and she put on a dope show. She also put out a few jazz songs as well. When Missy did come out Latifah really wasn't putting out any albums at the time

There's more to being an MC than just lyrics and content. There's flow and delivery and things like creativity that also make up an MC.

Nah, Missy had the clubs on smash. I could never get with Latifahs songs. I was down with MC Light back then. Missy actually got much better lyrically after her first album but she just liked playing with the track.. Even her R&B joints were hits and she stuck to hiphop instead of going pure jazz like Dana Owens.
