Stone cold.
-
the rock...........

DX defined the attitude era and the rock was the pretty boy in it but stone cold IS the attitude era because he was living the REAL american dream: beating your bosses ass!

None of the above...

"there is only a few a few things in this life that make me happy, thats drinking beer, four letter words, middle fingers, drinking more beer, OH HELL YEAH!"
nobody did it like this dude, nobody ever will again. the bionic redneck. -
The Rock was great, but he wasn't great in the beginning. Not like SCSA. This dude was, jeez, he redefined what a character could be for wrestling. Everything about him was his own, his walk, talk, drinking, driving into the arena, whoopin' ass, word choice, chants, look everything. He is and always will be THE BEST wrestling character ever to exist.
His intro glass breaking is just get on your feet and scream type ? . -
um... hulk hogan.

Stone Cold was the best wrestler, with The Rock a close second. DX was best as the two man team of HHH and HBK w/ Chyna and they were a vital part of it, as well as the DX with X-Pac, NAO and HHH.
The attitude era came of age because of three movements: Austin, Rock, and DX.
And Austin's character helped to shape the beginning of the attitude era. DX helped to bring it about by pushing more limits. Rock utilized it to build a perfect character.
While Foley was a big part, he couldnt carry the company like a Austin, Rock, HBK or DX could. I dont think Undertaker could carry the company on his back, as he's never done that period. -
Val Venis actually was a big part of the attitude era in the beginning

Best character was Stone Cold. The best wrestler, though, was the Rock.
