Surprised no one here has mentioned the Palestinian territories, the world's largest open air prison....it's a nation now according to the United Nations

i guess the question there is if that qualifies as a nation for the purposes of the question, to be honest

I don't see why the state of Palestine shouldn't be considered for this thread. It's a nation now, even if Israel is still building illegal settlements and destroying homes of Palestinian civilians there.

calm down with the default rant, because i think you're missing my point: if the Palestinian Territories are in the nation of Israel, like it or not, ISRAEL is still a better place to live than, say, North Korea

although ? , i would still rather live in Gaza/the West Bank than NK, so it might not matter either way

Yeah I hear what you're saying. The Israelis do contribute a lot to the Palestinians' education system and do provide some healthcare to many Palestinians as well. Probably better care per person then North Korea

damn, never knew all that about North Korea. that's crazy. honestly, hard to believe. time to do some research.

as for the thread, seems like we got it all down. mexico automatically came to my mind. or maybe just some certain parts of mexico. crazy to think that most of those certain parts are just miles away from the U.S.

and we're willing to declare a war on terrorism and invade countries half way around the world, but we're not willing to invade mexico, the country right next door that's (by "proxy") trafficking all the drugs to america in the first place and killing thousands during the process, even though we've declared a war on drugs? hm.

well, to be fair, what i'm REALLY saying is we're rating the overall countries, so if you count them as part of Israel...

but it's also a pretty grey area given their status

don't worry, we're busy filling them with small arms and other military equipment that, if transferred to criminals, will be used by Mexican politicians to attack American gun laws somehow

Well damn. And here I thought my country (Jamaica) had problems.

The NK dictator is an ? for killing porn stars though....they've never hurt anyone and provides an educational service to young and old.

& cotdayum @ violent Buddhists, smh.

Lol well sadly Venezuela is proof socialism is not a perfect system but I don't think it's an all out socialist nation like Cuba. I can't believe their running out of toilet paper haha...also heard the president of Venezuela kicked out the American ambassador a couple of days ago via a televised speech and blamed American movies for Venezuela's high crime rate smh

it's also funny because you have Cuba slowly embracing minor elements of capitalism while Venezuela's response to any issue seems to be "blame it on capitalism! and maybe America"
