Microsoft has announced an Xbox One tour that will allow gamers to go hands-on with its next-gen console ahead of its launch on November 22.
The tour will span more than 75 cities in the United States, Canada, and Europe, including Los Angeles, New York City, Boston, and Berlin. The tour begins on October 1, runs for the remainder of the year, and consists of two different types of experiences.
The "Area One" tour will allow gamers to try out the Xbox One's new controller and a number of Xbox One games, including Forza Motorsport 5, Dead Rising 3, and Killer Instinct. These events are going to feature live music "and more," and will be free to attend. They are, however, first-come, first-served, and require attendees to be 18 years or older.
For those who are either under 18 or unable to get to one of the Area One events, the Xbox One "Test Drive" tour will also be going on over the next few months. Microsoft will be bringing its new console to a variety of locations like college campuses and retail locations where gamers of any age can try out the new system.
Full details on dates and locations can be seen on the official Xbox website. In addition to this more wide-ranging tour, Microsoft is also hosting a select number of hands-on events in September and October.
