“Teach Him”
I teach him not to lie and never keep secrets
I make him into this honest reliable man that I stand by
Hoping that’ll he change his ways, I force him to strive better
Learn more and want better, I instruct him to be ? fearing no matter what ppl may say
I teach him that I’m a priceless jewel that should be kept pure
He goes to the extreme to keep me happy b/c it’s a part of his rules
I teach him to keep his eyes always on me
No other girl will want him; no other female can do him better than me
He’s never mad b/c I have no time to deal with his feelings
There’s never confusion, neither one of us can lose
I pick out his clothes, make his decisions, and think for him
The time that’ll it’ll take for him to get his self together is time wasted
I teach him my favorite spots, when to hold my hands and pull out chairs
I laugh at his jokes because that’s my role as his woman
I keep his self esteem high enough to show confidence but never cocky
That’s rule number 5, arrogance causes unnecessary heartbreak
So I teach him how to love me and when to say it
I teach all these things to satisfy my own insecurities of loving a man
If you had the opportunity to "teach" a man...would you?

uh uh uh soooo mean
I don't want to have to teach a man anything. I want him as he comes, and if we aren't feeling each others personalities from the beginning - we dont need to be together. -
this thread is nothing without pictures and crackers

Really though, it sounds like this is a poem about a woman teaching her son. And these lessons are ? horrible. Pick out his clothes? make his decisions? have no time for his feelings?
