So where was this dude at when his son was being beat. Why all the hate at AP when he should have these feelings toward the mother and the guy who killed the child. Dude just trying to make the story about him which is why he using his full name
If you're child is in the custody of the mother there's little you can do outside of what she allows. -
To me the little boy look like it could be mother's boyfriend child than it would be AP

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000273589/article/man-charged-with-adrian-petersons-sons-death-is-freeSIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The man charged with killing the 2-year-old son of Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has bonded out of a South Dakota jail.
The Minnehaha County Jail in Sioux Falls says 27-year-old Joseph Robert Patterson is no longer housed there.
His attorney, Tim Rensch, confirmed Patterson's release and says there are no conditions on it. But Rensch says Patterson plans to stay in the area and defend himself.
Patterson's bond was reduced to $750,000 on Monday, so he had to post $75,000.
He's charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter, aggravated assault and aggravated battery in the death of Tyrese Robert Ruffin.
