It's funny how most people thought Vol. 1 was ? when it came out. This was off the Streets was Watching though, dope little collective of music videos that told the story.
That was such a sick album.
Nah my boy this was vol 1 number 4 on the album. And vol 1 too to much hate for no apparent reason
there are alot of reasons ... vol 1 isnt all that ... it has it moments ... but city is mine and that song with lil kim .... and some will say sunshine as well altho i ? with that one but ill give it to them ... when you look @ songs like imaginary player, streets is watching etc... them joints is straight boo boo ...... lol -

I also recently found out where the sample from the beat comes from.
LOL cool. I knew it was Rene' and Angela a long time ago. No diss to the youngin's but yall missed out on a lot of great music where a lot of these samples come from.
I love checking out sample sources dude, that's one of the things about Hip Hop that's so attractive. One of the only genres that literally encompasses all other music and can sample it to make it it's own. Very unique.
A lot of these samples also would be lost in time and rap brings them back to life.
Yeah it do. And by me growing up in the 70's- 80's I can hear a song and automatically know where the sample is from. My homie used to bug because I could hear the first bars of a hip hop track and know where the sample came from -
