yup..he was active in Canada long before he hit the American market. Canada's produced some really good rappers over the years...they just didn't make it big enough in America to gain recognition.

He reappeared briefly in 1999 and released his debut album Exit in 2002. The album received positive reviews but sold relatively few copies. He released his second album Joyful Rebellion in 2004, which received platinum status in Canada. A third album, Atlantis: Hymns for Disco, was released in 2006 and also went platinum. His fourth album, Yes!, was released in 2009. His fifth album BLack on BLonde was released in 2013.

i listen to a lot of his stuff, but i've never really classed him as a rapper since he tends to sing on most of his shit more than rap.he hasn't gone anywhere, been dropping good albums consistently and never really tried breaking into the american market (he has a bigger fanbase overseas) which is why you have to keep an ear out for whenever he drops new material.

always tries to push his sound forward on every project, and he stays decent on the mic when he does spiit.sometimes he does get a bit too out there like his last album which was on a rock ting.shit didn't really grow on me,but 'Joyful Rebellion' and 'exit' are 2 of my favorite albums.

the amount of times people probably mistake this guy for will i am out on the street though.must burn his soul.
