Pretty clearly Tip. I rock with Royce though. He'll never get the credit he deserves.

Yeah but sales aside just strictly based on quality of albums

And T.I. hasn't had a platinum album for a very long time he hasn't had a platinum album since 2008 those days are done for him

I think T.I.'s best album Trap Muzik>>>>>>>Royces best album Death Is Certain

T.I. is the better technical Emcee and has a better Flow

But Royce has more substance and depth

ehh, it's all subjective, but I'll say this, the legendary Bun B put Nickel in his top 5 not too long ago

I'm not a fan of either rappers or think eithers music is good

So i'm speaking from a completley neutral view point on this

No i know he has substance in some of his music but i feel he is 1 of those rappers that delivers it in a boring and bland way basically he isn't engaging or interesting in delivering a message in the songs he does

He certaintly has alot more than T.I. who lacks that overall and focuses on Flows and main subject matter consists of selling drugs, being a Gangster, money, cars, women

I personally think Tip has plenty of substance and depth in his ? . Some ? choose to ignore it, though.

Majority of his songs lack substance

The songs he does have with any substance are in the minority

If u listed all his songs that lack substance then listed all his songs that do have some kind of substance the difference would be huge

U could name at most pronbably 10 songs he has with any substance

And over 60 songs that have no substance

I could name you at least 25 joints that have substance. Probably of the top or my head. That's what I mean, ? just ignore it.

But the point is they are in the minority compared to majority of his songs

Ludacris has some songs with substance too but they are in the minority as well compared to most his songs

I'm surprised you said this. You usually peg Royce as a punchline rapper, and I personally think Tip has more deep songs. I can't disagree tho, Tip has never made a song like Security or Shake This.

My vote goes to T.I. btw.

Nah Royce has substance and depth on a lotta songs way more than T.I. as i said

But i always said that having substance in theory is the easy part but being engaging, interesting, charismatic, entertaining in delivering that substance is the hard part. IMO Royce is boring and not enaging in delivering his message.

He is bettter t making songs with substance than T.I. though this aspect is bigger weakness with T.I.

However T.I. is better at making street and Gangsta Rap songs and club songs
